Hopefully this was intended for film. I'm envisioning a samurai looking over his destroyed village with a thirst for redemption or something. Very beautiful piece, three hours well spent.

Thanks, when I was writing this I envisioned it as a theme of sorts to a game I built back in secondary school, if it were turned into a movie or something. Definitely going for the someone-died-so-i-need-to-cross-the-Atlantic vibe lol. Also, a little bit of Uncharted influence in it which you can probably hear
Beat's too hot, my speakers caught on fire man you owe me a new sound system :(
Oh yah?
Me no sowwy fur das soundsystem!
I should start placing warnings in the description.
"Liberal Shimmering is not responsible for any damage of any kind! (That includes damage to the ears.)"
"Someone please rap over this thank you."
Well alright, Howard. I guess it's time for round 2 my man haha.
Woohoo! You're back! looking forward to it
Sweet jumpin jesus, this requires a number of mad dope bars to be spit over it immediately.
Lets do this!
I'm digging how the sharp lead synth and the distorted drums juxtapose with the delicate melody that's always going on in the back. And the breakdown around 2:10 is badass.
Thanks dude! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the song! And I was really proud of myself on how that part came out, haha.
Sounds pretty rad. Definitely feels like a very fluid, natural effort from you. I feel that this lil tune captures the feeling of fully embracing a moment in musical form.
Thank you
You better somehow remake this and finish it! This tiny lil loop is phenomenal! I could definitely see it as a theme for some epic, 8-bit space adventure.
Thank you, I didn't expect this work to be so well received for the level of completion! Your review fills me with determination to complete this!
Rad cover of a classic bossa nova song. Personally I would go a bit more legato on the melody, but the staccato sound does add a bit more funk to the overall song.
Makes me wanna smoke a big fat doobie and sit on the beach watching the sun go down.
Thanks, dude! I'm looking into doing other Jobim tunes in the future.
Or if you want to suggest any other cool tunes for me to try out, you can do that too!
Thanks for listening!
Holy fuck i'm gonna have to drop a freestyle over this tomorrow haha
Do it.
I record/mix/master audio, mix live sound, and make music. Hmu if you wanna collab or something.
