Baaah, dude! The whole song is just building tension, building, building, but it never gets relieved! I don't want to be harsh since the song itself is musically pretty good (the synths are excellent, great mastering, etc), but it feels like 3 minutes of blue-balls! This song would be great if there were some relief to the constantly building tension. The pieces are all there, but this just feels like the first half of a great piece.

Mmm, i feel ya...Thanks for the critic, tho. Can't please everyone.

Aww, it's very lovey-dovey and romantic, in a cool Trance sort of way. Excellent job, though you could easily (if you wanted to) transform this from a nice love song into an epic club banger by putting a nice drop and a fast beat/melody somewhere in there. Sounds nice, though:)

Dylnmatrix responds:

Did I never respond to you...? Oops...

Thanks for the review! I appreciate it.

Hahaha I had this playing for like 2 minutes and didn't even notice it was only a 10-second loop.

Sounds like some top-notch production music, I could easily see this playing on a main menu screen for a flash game. Nice job! And I hope that ramen was as tasty as this lil loop.

RiverK responds:

Tasted like victory!

Very minimalist! Yet very intense, and ominous...and sexy!

Iiiiiiiiii really liked it. Excellent job on this enormous (yet tiny) festival of sound.

AliceMako responds:

You're too kind, glad you enjoyed it ^_^

Has a somewhat 80's vibe to it, I like it! Short and sweet, nice job.

Thanks a lot

After reading the title/description, I turned off the lights, closed the door, and plugged in my noise-cancelling headphones. You, sir, had me scared absolutely shitless...up until the end! It was a big dramatic build-up, then I felt blue-balled at the end. I love your work and I know you're an extremely talented musician; put a big dramatic climax at the end to really peak that horrifying aura that's built throughout the piece!

Lashmush responds:

I see your point, I do. Thing is, it was after all supposed to be trailer music and that spot at the end would've been where the title popped up.

Still, it would be worth expanding upon this one about a minute or so. I'll give it some thought at least. c:

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww dayum. I am an absolute sucker for those marching band drumlines...and that's all that this is! Awesome! :D

Could you make a longer, more intricate version, though? Maybe get some snares and stuff in there (cymbals, even?)? I feel like this has the potential to be a really epic drumline, rather than just a super cool percussion piece. Best of luck, do whatever feels right and keep making awesome sounds

ALECXACE responds:

I was actually thinking the same thing
Probably will :D

After I read that bad-ass story in the description, you know I had to at least give the song a try (I mean audio miners that fled underneath the Earth's crust to flee the oppression of mainstream music? Freaking Rad! :D) The song is absolutely wonderful, I love the little sound effects that stand for the mining of new sounds and the other nice touches throughout the piece. I will say that, as awesome as the song is, the main melody does start to feel a bit repetitive after awhile.

While the song is rich in effects and ornamentation, a little more musical variation would take this from a 4 to a 5 star song. Excellent job overall.

Thanks for the great constructive feedback!

What is this...strange feeling in my feet...this jumping up and down, what the hell is going on? Why am I so confused yet so happy? WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH?!

I'll tell ya why! Because it's some great music, and it's also really weird (which I really enjoy). The unorthodox melody in the motif first off, the strange robotic vocals, the wonderful synth that comes in around the 1 minute mark. It's all so delightful! Great job!

Only one thing left to do...let's make some mo-ney :D

poinl responds:

Ya i had to use simple preferably single syllable lyrics for the robotoid.
(Which were also inspired by an inside joke)

I record/mix/master audio, mix live sound, and make music. Hmu if you wanna collab or something.
